 Verdict
  • The D3100 is the first release of Nikon's latest generation of DSLR cameras. A brand new 14.2MP CMOS sensor raises the resolution over previous generations and the sensor is now capable of capturing Full HD 1080p movies at a cinematic 24 frames per second (fps) too. It's out with the old and in with the new as this is now captured using H.264 compression, not the previous (less favourable) Motion-JPEG format that Nikon DSLRs had been using.

  • Well After a long time this one of the best gadgets i have ever bought for my self. I genuinly feel money well spent hence the price.Cut a long story short i was eagerly waiting to buy a DSLR but never did. I must have window shopped at least 50 times :-)) . But finally made my decision to go for ND3100. Its a great entry level camera with jam packed features. Easy to handle , not complicated most importantly not too bulky.
  • The Nikon D3100 provides a painless entry point into the Nikon DSLR system. It enables amateurs to capture more professional-looking images with the minimum of fuss and prior knowledge.
